It all started in Singapore with a note:

"Of all the places we have travelled, your happiness has been my favorite sight. Happiness comes with the life you create where you are. Continue to have a broad genuine smile that reaches the eyes and heart. Have a safe flight and take care, always."

Their first date was nothing short of magical. Alberts intentionally flew to Singapore not long after he understood Christie's love language while she accompanied her Oma for a medical check-up. It was a serendipitous encounter, orchestrated by God.

Maximizing the 3-days trip, Alberts asked Christie out the next day at 7.30am in Keong Saik Bakery for their first meet-up. As they departed, Alberts secretly slid a note inside Christie's bag.

Later that day, drawn by Dave's heartfelt recommendation, Alberts whisked Christie away for their first dinner date at Mott32. Over delectable bites and shared laughter, their connection deepened; laying the foundation for what was to come.

21 Apr'22 | The first dinner date at Mott32 that led to late night talks until 2.30 AM on the side of Marina Bay Sands. Amidst the vibrant energy of the city, our love story began.

From then onwards, Alberts & Christie escalated to a conversation: "I want to take root with you."

"Persevere for years, not just months", Alberts chose a very special day to propose to Christie on her 26th birthday, as a symbol of his unwavering love and commitment.

17 Mar'23 | "Because when real love comes into your life, you'll never leave it. In fact, you'll want to do everything you can to make sure it stays", said Alberts.

And now, as they stand hand in hand on the verge of eternity, both have selected a date imbued with profound meaning for them both. The wedding date, June 21; it will be Alberts' greatest birthday gift to have Christie by his side, now and forever.
